Nestled amid jaw-dropping natural beauty, the 40-acre Kokomo Island boasts five hilltop residences ranging from three to six bedrooms, a beachfront residence with six bedrooms, and 21 beachfront villas, each with one to three bedrooms. Spread across 140 acres, the island is embraced by a lush rain forest and ringed by fine, white sand beaches.

Yachting visitors to Fiji in the South Pacific have a lavish new stop-off to add to their itinerary that costs $100,000 per night and that can only be reached by seaplane or helicopter.

Dream came true for Lang Walker

A personal passion project for Australian billionaire developer Lang Walker, who has lived and breathed property development for over 50 years, Kokomo Island embodies his life enthusiasms; living near the water’s edge, waterfront development and enjoying activities on the water.

Designed by Sydney-based Philip Garner, they boast bright and neutral interiors that blend with the surrounding ocean and rainforest views. Abstract artworks in each room are the result of a nine-month commission by Christopher Kenyon. Meals can be served individually in-villa, or guests can dine at three restaurants.

On arrival, the natural beauty of the island captured my imagination, this abandoned island needed vision, a lot of patience and money to transform it into the resort it is today. Until now, my career in property has involved little or no emotion. The difference with Kokomo Island is that it is a true passion project, driven by the natural beauty and serenity of the Great Astrolabe Reef

said Lang regarding the new luxury project.

Kokomo Island is all about barefoot luxury. The island’s villas are designed for sustainability, luxury and privacy: there is the Owners’ Beachfront Residence, five Hilltop Luxury Residences offering some of the best views on the island, and 21 Exclusive Beachfront Villas, each with their own pool and private walled garden.
